I graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science and minors in Spanish and Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University. I am interested in studying neurodevelopment and how its dysregulation leads to neurological disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing/watching sports, volunteering, and traveling. 

 

Research:  My current project focuses on using dCas9-effector systems in iPSCs to modulate gene expression during neuroectoderm differentiation.
