I graduated from UMBC with a BS in Biochemistry and then went to Vanderbilt University where I received an MD and PhD in Neuroscience where I studied noninvasive methods of visualizing retinal pathology as a potential biomarker for Alzheimer's disease. Currently I am in the Emory Neurology Residency Program and am interested in pursuing a research fellowship in neuroimmunology. In my spare time I enjoy running and travelling with my wife.

Research: My current project focuses on understanding the pathophysiologic mechanism of neurotoxicity in hyperammonemia.
